Micro Facture’s AS9100D / ISO 9001-certified quality management system is built to support aerospace, defense, energy, firearms, and other high-reliability programs where consistency and accountability are essential.
Quality at Micro Facture begins before machining starts. Our engineering, production, and inspection teams review customer requirements, material specifications, critical features, and documentation needs to establish a controlled manufacturing process from first article through repeat production.
Every component is supported by disciplined inspection, calibrated equipment, material and process traceability, and documentation tailored to the requirements of the program.
QUALITY DOCUMENTATION & TRACEABILITY

Material certifications are maintained and provided according to customer and program requirements.

Material, manufacturing, inspection, and applicable special-process records are maintained to support traceability throughout production. Program-specific documentation requirements are reviewed before manufacturing begins.

First Article Inspection documentation, including AS9102 FAIR support when required, is available according to drawing, purchase-order, customer, and program requirements.

Dimensional inspection reports, CMM reports, and other inspection documentation are available according to drawing, purchase-order, and customer requirements.

Inspection and measurement equipment is maintained through a documented calibration program. Applicable CMMs, gages, comparators, and measurement devices are calibrated at established intervals using standards traceable to recognized standards.

When outside processing is required, applicable certifications are collected from qualified suppliers and maintained with the job documentation. NADCAP-accredited partners are used when required by the applicable program.

Customer specifications, drawing notes, quality clauses, documentation requirements, and critical characteristics are reviewed before production to establish the appropriate manufacturing and inspection plan.

Manufacturing, inspection, material, and applicable special-process records are retained according to customer, contractual, regulatory, and program requirements.
